Automated inference of point of view from user interactions in collective intelligence venues

2 3 We propose a generative model of page selection by users, and the disagreements that occur on those pages, in Wiki-like environments, applicable to many other forms of collective intelligence. We learn groupings of page content (topics) which preserve user disagreements while explaining page preferences. Within each grouping, users have preferences over points of view (POV), which determine their interactions with other users in the same grouping.
